The first meeting of the Firefly Auxiliary was held on September 6, 1955. The main purpose of the Firefly Auxiliary is to assist the Coolspring Township Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. financially or in any other way possible.

Our meetings are at 7:00 p.m., the first Thursday of each month at the fire station, 7111 W. 400 N., Michigan City, IN. Following our business meeting, a snack is served by the monthly committee members and games are enjoyed for a short time.
